Individual sound controls
Each track has controls for its transformation, variation, voicing, and velocity response.
Modify
Timescale, Frequency, Contrast, and Density are the broadest real-time sound-shaping controls. They are a good place to begin before moving into detailed editing.
Variation
Variation reshapes the noise component. Free generates a new noise pattern for each note; Frozen repeats the pattern selected by its seed.
Voicing
- Polyphony sets the available voices.
- Release controls the fade after note-off.
- Damp makes higher frequencies decay more quickly.
Velocity
Dynamics sets how strongly the sound follows playing velocity. Model changes the timbral response, while the curve editor gives direct control over the response shape.
